Sales Support / Inside Sales Specialist

Sedia Systems is seeking a full-time Sales Support / Inside Sales Specialist to join our team in Chicago.

Responsibilities: Follow the quotation process from beginning to completion: including qualifying opportunity, cross referencing, data entry, price analysis, review of terms and conditions and confirming customer receipt Coordinate with other departments obtaining accurate information on costs, availability, logistics, lead time and other items related to the quotation Work directly with national sales team to build opportunity pipeline within Salesforce and exceed strategic goals Ensure follow-up by passing leads to national sales team with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.

Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop inbound leads and target accounts Qualify, respond and follow up on lead opportunities uncovered in BidClerk by making outbound calls Demonstrate effective understanding of target audience including industry knowledge, key business issues, industry trends, Sedia Systems solutions and competition Provide support and assistance to fellow team members and departments, as needed, in order to meet company goals Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications or equivalent work experience Minimum 2-3 years of direct work experience in a sales capacity in the contract furniture industry Well-developed organizational, communications, and interpersonal relationship skills Ability to perform complex tasks and to prioritize multiple projects Inside sales and lead qualification experience highly desirable Experience with customer relationship management software (Salesforce) Exceptional listening, written, communication and presentation skills Self-motivated and detail oriented with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm Proficient in performing basic calculations and math High level of integrity and work ethic Possess a high sense of urgency, attention to detail and the ability to work individually and as part of a team environment PC literacy with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point Proven knowledge of the contract furniture industry is necessary Experience with fixed seating is a plus
